JEEZ it's cold here! I swear, even at night back home, in the middle of winter, it doesn't really get this cold. I haaaaaaate it! Now I have to buy a better coat, but that means going outside more than I have to. I should stop by somewhere after work tomorrow... Or... Something, I guess.

Being stuck in the lab in the middle of New York's winter is a blessing, even if I prefer field work. But oh well, least I get to prove to them that I'm good at what I do, and not some damned lab rat like some of them seem to like to call me. I'm a DNA specialist! Lab rats don't have my IQ, or expertise in this field. Hmph.

Time to find something to do... Like upload my new CDs to iTunes and shove them on my iPod. Gotta have some tunes while at work, after all. See ya journal, more fun activities await me!
